More sauce

Here is a barbecue sauce that Terry Lacouture sent in.
My maternal grandmother is from Louisiana. All the grand kids called
her "DO DO" (sounds like DOE DOE). This is the sauce that you were most likely
to get when my grandfather grilled steaks. One of the best things about it is it
is very low sugar. The only sugar is in the ketchup and there is not very much
of that. I usually double or triple the recipe just because I like it so much.
It is not a thick sauce, it reminds me of something you might dip lobster in. My
grandfather would use a batch to baste the grilling meat with. Then my
grandmother would have it on the table also.

DO DO's BBQ Sauce

1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine (I think butter is best)
1/4 Cup Lemon juice
2 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp Prepared Horseradish
2 Tbsp Vinegar
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Tabasco Sauce

Mix all ingrediants in a sauce pan. Bring to slow boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
Serve. Best when hot or warm. Recipe can be doubled or tripled according to how
much you need or want.
